Data Collection

Pagetool (including this agent platform) collects information to operate and improve our service. We collect:

  • User tokens: Authentication credentials that identify you to our API and services.
  • Draft metadata: Information about your draft sites, including creation timestamps, modification history, and configuration details.
  • Site previews: Watermarked, temporary previews of sites you are building with our agent platform.
  • Usage data: Information about how you interact with our platform, including API calls made, resources used, and IP addresses. We record the IP address of visitors to our own pages (pagetool.io, debtify.org, and similar). Because sites our customers publish through Pagetool are served through the same underlying platform infrastructure, a visit to a customer's published site also results in us recording that visitor's IP address — a distinct disclosure from analytics on our own marketing pages.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide our services. Specifically:

  • Draft sites: Anonymous drafts are retained for 7 days from the time the draft is created. Continuing to work on a draft does not extend that window. Once you claim a draft into your account, it is retained for the lifetime of your account.
  • Account data: Data associated with your active account is retained while your account remains active.
  • Temporary previews: Draft preview URLs are temporary and expire automatically 7 days after the draft is created. Publishing a site does not invalidate its preview URL.

We may update retention periods and data practices as our platform evolves.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

The following describes how your data is shared within our platform:

  • With the AI platform: When you use Pagetool with an AI platform like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, your site briefing goes to that platform's model. The platform generates site content and sends it to Pagetool for rendering and preview. This bidirectional flow enables the AI to compose, edit, and theme your site while Pagetool handles rendering and publishing.
  • Published sites: Once you publish a site live on your domain, that site is publicly accessible on the internet. We do not share your account data, payment information, or private metadata with the public.
  • Service providers: We may share limited data with third-party service providers (domain registrars, payment processors, hosting providers) as necessary to deliver our services.

Cookies and Third-Party Requests

We do not run advertising or ad-tracking scripts, and we do not set advertising cookies.

We set first-party cookies on our own domain — for example, to keep you signed in. These are used to operate the platform, not to track you across other websites.

Our own pages (pagetool.io, debtify.org, and similar) load fonts from Google Fonts: two stylesheets are requested from fonts.googleapis.com — one linked from the page and one imported by our own stylesheet — and your browser then fetches the font files themselves from fonts.gstatic.com. Our other font is served directly from our own servers and makes no third-party request.

Sites published by our customers may additionally load whatever content their owner has added to them.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: You can correct inaccurate account or draft information at any time through the platform, or by contacting us.
  • Portability: You can request an exportable copy of your data.
  • Deletion: You can delete individual drafts yourself, or request deletion of your entire account, as described in the "Deleting Your Data" section below.

Deleting Your Data

You have control over your data and can delete it at any time:

  • Delete a draft: You can delete an individual draft site at any time. The draft is removed from your account, unpublished, and no longer accessible to you; it is retained in a recoverable form for administrative recovery.
  • Delete your account: Account deletion is available on request. Contact us at 8mcgraw@gmail.com and we will delete your sites, drafts, account data, and the payment-processor customer reference we store from our servers. We do not store card numbers or other payment card details ourselves; those are held by our payment processor.
  • Anonymous drafts: If you are building a site anonymously (without an account), your draft is reachable only through the draft token you hold. Discarding that token gives up your access to the draft, but does not by itself erase it from our servers. Anonymous drafts expire and become inaccessible 7 days after the draft is created, whether or not you have been using them.

Security

We take the security of your data seriously. We serve our platform over HTTPS, and on pagetool.io your browser is instructed to use HTTPS for a year after its first secure visit. Some of our domains still answer plain HTTP requests, which are not encrypted, so we recommend always using the https:// address. Tokens and credentials are stored securely and are never shared or displayed after you leave the platform.
